To Winterize: Shut off Water
90° or 1/4 turn clockwise closes the main water supply, and in the same motion, let’s the cold water drain out.
When applicable, the hot water supply is fitted with a pressure activated drain check valve which opens automatically when the main water supply is shut off. Operator now opens all faucets to allow air into the water supply system. Household anti-freeze can be added to sinks, tubs and toilets for the possibility of an unexpected freeze over. Water heater remains full!
To Restore Water Service
A 90° or 1/4 turn counter clockwise opens the water supply. Operator then shuts off faucets.
